What is a SHE IS- worthy!?
At sister 2 sisterlv, we are proud to offer an elite Cotillion program for young ladies. For those unfamiliar with the Cotillion, it is an event that celebrates the rite of passage when a young lady enters society as a young adult. It is a program designed to teach social skills and etiquette, helping young ladies navigate social situations with confidence and grace.
Our Etiquette/Cotillion program is about building relationships and empowering young women and men to become more confident and poised individuals. It is a special journey that covers various topics including etiquette, social graces, and self-esteem building, which prepares young ladies for various social settings. Our program is built on the principles of respect, character, and proper etiquette, all while providing a fun and engaging atmosphere where young ladies can thrive.
What is a Debutante?
A debutante is a young lady who is being introduced into high society. The term comes from the French word ‘débutante’, which means ‘female beginner’. Traditionally, debutantes would attend balls and other social events where they would be formally presented to society. In modern times, the debutante ball has become less common, but the concept of being introduced into society is still an important one for many young women. Our cotillion program is designed to help young ladies gain the skills, confidence and knowledge necessary to make a successful debut.
What is a Beau?
In our Cotillion program, we introduce young men to the tradition of becoming a beau, which means a gentlemanly escort for a young lady at a formal event. A beau should have exceptional manners and know how to treat a lady with respect and courtesy. By participating in our program, young ladies will learn how to select a suitable beau, conduct themselves during events, and present themselves with style and elegance.
